Each fall, everybody in San Francisco gets together to read the same book, much in the way that everybody in France eats baguettes and everybody in Rio wears a thong. Meaning: Everybody does not read the same book. But enough people do that the public library's program One City, One Book: San Francisco Reads is now finishing up its third successful year, and it has kept this year's author, Berkeley's
Lalita Tademy, on a speaking circuit that would impress Hillary Clinton. Before she collapses, catch her one final time as she discusses her New York Times best-seller Cane River.
